Aubuchon Company Acquiring Spangler’s Ace Hardware

December 18, 2025, Westminster, MA — The Spangler family has agreed to sell Spangler’s Ace Hardware in Dover, PA, to the Aubuchon Company, the oldest and largest family-owned group of hardware stores in America. The store will continue to operate as “Spangler’s Ace Hardware.” Ashley Spangler, III will stay on as Store Leader.
Following a January 6th settlement, the Aubuchon Company will operate 134 stores across 11 states.
